Sweet Heaven from Gulf Orchid, released in 2024, is a chocolate and hazelnut gourmand with a woody base. Everyone who describes it calls it sweet, most also find it woody, and a minority pick up musk, resin, amber and citrus.

Orange opens it with a brief, bright lift. The centre is cocoa and cacao pod, rich and slightly bitter, with hazelnut adding a roasted, nutty, praline-like sweetness. The base is warm and smooth: vanilla and tonka bean for a creamy sweetness, cashmere wood and sandalwood for a soft, velvety wood, myrrh for a faint resinous, balsamic depth, and amber and musk for a warm, lingering finish.

It is worn by anyone and is firmly a cold-weather evening scent, for someone who likes chocolate and hazelnut kept from being cloying by sandalwood and myrrh.
