Golden Amber from Floris, composed by Nicola Pozzani in 2024, is a sweet, green floral with an amber base. Everyone who describes it calls it sweet and floral, most add green and woody, and a third mention amber and citrus.
Bergamot and neroli open it with a bright, slightly bitter orange-flower freshness. Blackcurrant with currant leaf and bud brings a tart, sappy green, and fig a milky, leafy sweetness. Rose geranium and geranium give the heart a rosy, herbal, slightly minty character, with almond blossom adding a soft, powdery, marzipan sweetness. The base is warm and smooth: amber for a resinous glow, tonka bean for a creamy, hay-like sweetness, sandalwood for a milky wood, and patchouli for an earthy depth.
It is worn by anyone. The green-amber balance suits autumn and spring and either daytime or evening wear, and a person who likes amber fragrances but wants a leafy, slightly bitter edge to keep them from being too sweet.
