Mandarin orange and ginger open it with a bright, juicy citrus and a zesty, warming spice. The heart is rosy: Damask rose and rose bring a rich, velvety, slightly honeyed petal note that softens what follows. The base centres on agarwood, or oud, which gives a dark, smoky, resinous woodiness, supported by myrrh, a bittersweet, slightly medicinal resin, and sandalwood, a creamy, smooth wood that rounds off the finish.
