Mandarin orange and pink pepper open it, the mandarin soft and juicy, the pepper adding a faint, rosy sparkle. The heart is iris and magnolia: the iris cool, powdery and slightly earthy, like the inside of a compact, the magnolia fresh, lemony and clean, which lifts the iris and keeps it from feeling heavy. The base is musk and ambrette, the musk clean and skin-like, the ambrette softer and slightly nutty, so the scent fades out as warm skin with a dusting of powder.
It reads as a quiet, intimate fragrance for daytime and warm weather, suited to someone who likes musks and iris and wants a scent that feels like their own skin on a good day rather than a perfume.
