Aldehydes, bergamot and pink pepper give the opening a fizzy, clean sparkle, with angelica adding a green, slightly musky herbal note. The heart is Turkish rose and iris, the rose soft and fresh, the iris cool, powdery and cosmetic. The base is built on musk and ambrette, a plant-derived musk that smells soft, slightly nutty and skin-like, with carrot adding an earthy powderiness, and sandalwood, leather, ambergris and amberwood giving a warm, smooth, long-lasting finish.
Fleur de Peau is worn by anyone. Most wearers find its longevity moderate to long and its projection moderate to intimate. It is voted mainly for spring and autumn and strongly for daytime, suiting a soft, close-wearing scent for everyday use.
