Orange and candied fruits open it with a sweet, sticky, sugared brightness, while davana adds a boozy, fruity, liqueur-like tone. Cloves and cinnamon bring a warm, festive spice, clove slightly medicinal and cinnamon sweet. Almond adds a marzipan-like softness. The base is rich and balsamic: labdanum gives a sticky, ambery resin, benzoin a smooth, vanilla-like sweetness, vanilla a creamy warmth, and patchouli an earthy depth that keeps the sweetness grounded.
