Metaphore WJ is a woody, floral leather with a honeyed sweetness, released by the Romanian house Calaj in 2020 and composed by Miguel Matos. It is worn by anyone.

Bergamot and thyme open it with a bright, herbal, slightly bitter freshness. The heart pairs jasmine with carnation, the first smooth and sweet, the second peppery and clove-like, while carrot seed adds an earthy, slightly powdery, iris-like note. Honey brings a thick, golden, faintly animalic sweetness. The base is leather and suede, supple and soft, with tobacco adding a dry, leafy warmth, cedar a crisp woodiness, patchouli an earthy depth, and musk a soft finish.

It suits autumn and winter and evening wear. Anyone who likes floral leathers with honey and tobacco should find it rewarding.
