The opening combines labdanum, a sticky resin with a warm, leathery, ambery character, with rose, saffron and bergamot. Saffron adds a warm, slightly metallic spice and bergamot a fresh lift. The heart is woody: cedar brings dry clarity, guaiac wood a smoky tone, and patchouli an earthy depth, while apple adds an unexpected crisp sweetness. The base returns to labdanum for its amber glow, with sandalwood giving creaminess, vanilla a soft sweetness and musk a smooth finish.

Worn by anyone, it suits autumn and winter, evenings and occasions where a rich, warm scent is welcome. It will appeal to someone who likes ambery, resinous woods with a little spice.
