The opening is bright and salty: lemon and mandarin orange give a fresh, zesty sparkle, while sea water, sea notes and mineral notes bring the salt-on-skin impression the name promises. Shiso, a Japanese herb, adds a green, slightly minty and spicy twist, and clary sage an aromatic, herbal freshness. As it settles, cedar and dry wood give a sun-bleached, driftwood-like woodiness, and musk leaves a clean, soft finish.
