Guatemalan cardamom and cardamom open it with a cool, aromatic spice, while black pepper and pepper add a crisp, dry heat that fits the fire in the name. In the heart, jasmine and jasmine sambac bring a warm, slightly fruity floral note, softening the spice. Cypress adds a green, resinous freshness. The base is dry and smoky: frankincense, also listed as olibanum, gives a cool, slightly citrusy smoke, and cedar and Virginia cedar a clean, pencil-shaving woodiness that holds everything together.
