Dama Koupa by Baruti, composed by Spyros Drosopoulos in 2016, is a woody, honeyed floral for women with a pastry-shop twist. Woodiness is what everyone agrees on; most also describe it as floral and amber-like, and a third find it musky.
Osmanthus is the floral centre, with its apricot-like, slightly leathery, tea-tinged sweetness, and iris adds a cool, powdery softness beside it. Beeswax brings a honeyed, waxy warmth, and macarons a soft, almond-sweet, slightly powdery note that gives the scent its gourmand edge without any heaviness. The woods are balsam fir and fir for a green, resinous, coniferous sharpness, and woody notes and white woods for a dry, clean frame, with amber and musk softening the finish into something warm and skin-like.
It reads as an autumnal, slightly old-fashioned fragrance, suited to someone who likes osmanthus and iris and wants a scent that smells of a wood-panelled tea room with pastries on the table.
