Grapefruit and blood orange give the opening a bright, slightly bitter juiciness, and berry fruits and fig add a darker, jammy, slightly milky sweetness. Mint brings an unexpected cool freshness. Cinnamon, nutmeg and spices follow with a warm, sweet heat. Cambodian oud is the heart of the base, dark, smoky and slightly sweet, with white woods and woody notes giving it a cleaner frame. Rose adds a soft floral warmth, leather a smooth depth, and patchouli an earthy foundation.
Ambra Oud is worn by anyone. Its warm, spiced, fruity character suits autumn and winter and evening wear, and it should appeal to someone who enjoys oud with fruit and cinnamon rather than in a dry, austere form.
