The woods are dark and dense: ebony wood and agarwood (oud) give a deep, slightly smoky, resinous character, while sandalwood smooths them with a creamy softness. Nutmeg and caraway bring the spice, warm and a little savoury rather than sweet. Amber adds a glowing, balsamic warmth beneath, and a rose note threads through the middle, lending a soft floral richness that keeps the composition from being purely dry.
It has the dense, warm profile of a cold-weather and evening scent, better suited to someone who likes oud and spice in the Montale style than to anyone seeking a light or fresh fragrance.
