Milk and honey open it, soft and sweet, with the milk giving a creamy, slightly lactic texture and the honey a thicker golden warmth. Fig is the heart, and it brings both sides of the fruit: the green, leafy, slightly bitter sap and the sweet, jammy flesh. Beeswax in the base adds a waxy, honeyed, faintly animal warmth, and sandalwood gives it a creamy wooden finish that ties back to the milk at the start.
