Fiori Bianchi is a classic white floral from the Italian house Laura Biagiotti, released in 1982 as a feminine fragrance. Floral is the word everyone uses; about a third also find it woody, and a smaller group gourmand, green, ambery or citrusy.
Bergamot and green notes open it with a fresh, slightly bitter brightness, and galbanum adds the sharp, sappy greenness typical of its era. The heart is a full white bouquet: lily of the valley and hyacinth for dewy freshness, tuberose and ylang-ylang for creamy, heady richness, narcissus for a green, slightly animalic edge, and orange blossom and rose for softness. Orris root adds a cool powder, and fruity notes a hint of sweetness. The base of cedar, sandalwood, oakmoss, musk and amber is dry, mossy and warm, in the chypre manner.
The structure suits spring and summer and daytime wear, and it should appeal to someone who enjoys classic, green-tinged white florals with a mossy, grown-up finish.
