Bergamot opens it with a clean, slightly bitter brightness, and wild berries and forest fruits follow with a tart, jammy sweetness that gives the start its fruity character. The heart is rose and peony, the rose warm and slightly honeyed, the peony fresher and a little watery, with jasmine adding a creamy depth and neroli a soapy, bitter-orange-blossom lift that keeps the flowers from becoming too sweet. The base is gentle: vanilla for a creamy softness, sandalwood for a smooth wood, and musk for a clean, skin-like finish.
It is an easy daytime scent for spring and summer, for women who like rose kept light, fruity and uncomplicated.
