Citrus gives the opening a bright, clean lift that stops the tuberose from feeling too heavy too soon. Tuberose itself is the heart, and it is a flower of two moods: creamy and sweet on one side, green and slightly rubbery on the other. Here it is framed rather than smothered. Patchouli underneath adds an earthy, dark, faintly chocolatey depth, which gives the flower a woody floor to stand on and keeps the whole thing from drifting into pure white-floral sweetness.
It is worn by anyone. The structure suits both warm days, when the citrus leads, and cooler evenings, when the patchouli takes over, and it should appeal to someone who likes tuberose but prefers it with a dry, grounded finish rather than a sugary one.
