Davana opens it, a boozy, dried-fruit, faintly herbal note that gives the start a rich, slightly liqueur-like character. Osmanthus is the heart and the point of the scent, a small flower that smells of apricot and tea with a soft, suede-like undertone, and it is paired with geranium, whose green, rosy sharpness keeps the osmanthus from becoming too sweet. Leather then comes forward, smooth, slightly smoky and supple, picking up the suede hint already in the osmanthus, and patchouli beneath it adds a dry, earthy wood that anchors the composition.
It is a scent for autumn and winter evenings, for men who are comfortable with a floral heart and like it dressed in leather rather than citrus or spice.
