Mandarin orange and pear give a juicy, morning-bright opening, with pink pepper adding a gentle sparkle. Peony and orris root bring a soft floral layer, the orris adding a buttery, powdery touch. The heart of the scent is vanilla absolute and vanilla, sweetened further by sugared almonds and tonka bean for a creamy, confectionery feel. Solar notes give a warm, sunlit glow, while cedar, white cedar, ambroxan and musk keep the base clean and slightly woody rather than heavy.
