The composition is a duet. Rose appears in three forms, Turkish rose, Bulgarian rose and rose, so the flower is full, deep and slightly honeyed rather than fresh and dewy. Jasmine and Chinese jasmine add a warm, heady, slightly sweet richness that fills out the bouquet. Sandalwood underneath provides a creamy, smooth woody base that keeps the flowers grounded and gives the drydown a soft warmth.
It is worn by anyone and has the opulent character of an evening scent, suited to cooler weather and special occasions, for someone who likes rose and jasmine at full strength, in the manner of a classic floral attar rather than a light, modern one.
