Sea Foam is a fresh, woody marine scent with herbs and smoke, released by the French house Art de Parfum in 2016. It is worn by anyone.

Sea water, sea salt and seaweed open it with a salty, briny, coastal freshness, with lemon and bergamot adding a bright citrus and eucalyptus a cool, camphorous lift. Bay leaf, laurel and fig leaf bring a green, herbal, slightly bitter edge to the heart. The base is woody and faintly smoky: driftwood, guaiac wood and sandalwood give a dry, sun-bleached woodiness, Haitian vetiver and vetiver an earthy, grassy edge, patchouli depth, and incense a thin thread of smoke.

It suits spring and summer and daytime wear, particularly outdoors. Anyone who likes marine scents with real woody and herbal substance should find it rewarding.
