Rusty Vibes is a 2020 creation by Antonio Alessandria for his own Italian brand. It is first of all gourmand, with a floral layer, an amber warmth and lighter woody and musky touches.
The opening is tropical and creamy: coconut brings a milky, sun-warmed sweetness, passionfruit and tropical fruits add juicy, tangy fruit, and milk smooths everything into a soft, rounded feel. The heart is floral, with jasmine for warmth, lily of the valley for a fresh, dewy note and a general floral bouquet. As it dries down, vanilla and tonka bean bring creamy sweetness, incense adds a faint, dry smoke that gives the name some sense, amber a warm glow and musk and woody notes a soft finish.
The profile suggests summer evenings, holidays and relaxed occasions, though the creamy base also works in cooler weather. It is meant to be worn by anyone who enjoys tropical, milky gourmands with a little smoke and flowers.
