Bergamot opens it with brightness, alongside a soft floral mix of lily, cyclamen, ylang-ylang and mimosa, powdery and dewy rather than heavy. The heart is where it gets distinctive: salt gives a mineral edge, hinoki a clean, lemony Japanese cypress, pink pepper a rosy spice, and artemisia a cool, herbal bitterness. Cedar and patchouli form a dry, earthy woody base, with white musk and vanilla softening the finish.
It suits spring and autumn and works well for daytime or evening. Anyone who likes florals set in clean, slightly salty woods should find it rewarding.
