Que Chimba!

Que Chimba by Lorenzo Pazzaglia, composed by Lorenzo Pazzaglia and released in 2025, is a tropical-fruit gourmand with a heavy spice cupboard. Everyone who describes it calls it gourmand; about half also find it spicy, woody and floral, a third ambery and a minority resinous.

Passionfruit, guava and peach open it with a ripe, juicy, tropical sweetness. Cinnamon, cloves, ginger and star anise arrive quickly and give the fruit a warm, spiced, almost mulled quality. The heart is Damask rose and orchid, lush and soft, with heliotrope adding a powdery, almond-like sweetness. The base is where the gourmand impression settles: vanilla bean and tonka bean bring a thick, creamy sweetness, tobacco a dry, leafy warmth, benzoin and amber a resinous glow, ambergris a salty, skin-like depth, and sandalwood, cedar and patchouli a woody floor underneath it all.

It is a shared fragrance, worn by anyone. The richness points to cold weather and evenings, and it suits people who like loud, sweet, spiced fruit scents and are not put off by a long list of notes.
