Bloody Smoke is an amber and resin fragrance created in 2021 by the Italian perfumer Lorenzo Pazzaglia for his own brand. Amber leads, resin is noticed by most, and about half also find it sweet and floral, with a small fresh, musky side.
The heart of the scent is church-like smoke: frankincense, incense, elemi and myrrh give a cool, peppery, slightly lemony resin with a dark, balsamic edge. Mineral and metallic notes add a cold, stony sharpness that explains the name, a little like blood or wet iron. Lily of the valley and jasmine soften the smoke with a pale floral glow. In the base, vanilla and tonka bean bring warm sweetness, while sandalwood, ambergris and musk give a smooth, salty-skin finish.
It is shared and can be worn by anyone. The smoke and resin suit autumn and winter evenings, and it will appeal to people who like incense with an unusual metallic twist.
