Attraction, created for Lancôme in 2003 by Daniela Andrier and Christian Biecher, is a rich, creamy white floral with a soft amber base. Flowers lead clearly, and a minority of people notice woods, sweetness, musk and amber.

Ylang-ylang, neroli and gardenia open with a creamy, bright and slightly bitter floral freshness. The heart is a full bouquet of Bulgarian rose, tuberose, iris, orange blossom and jasmine, lush, heady and softened by iris's powdery touch. The base combines light amber, patchouli, cedar, vanilla and musk, a warm, gently sweet and earthy finish.

Wearers are split evenly between moderate and long-lasting wear, and the trail is mostly moderate. It is voted mainly for winter, then autumn, and mostly for daytime. That suits cool-weather office days and daytime events, for anyone who loves a generous, classic white floral.
