Pleine Lune is a green, woody floral with a tea note at its centre, released by the French house Bastille Parfums in 2020 and composed by Anne Flipo and Paul Guerlain. It is worn by anyone.
Bergamot and pink pepper open it with a bright, lightly spiced freshness, joined by neroli and orange blossom for a clean, honeyed floral lift. The heart brings matcha tea and mate, leafy, slightly bitter and green, set against tuberose and jasmine, which add a creamy white-floral richness without heaviness. The base is soft and woody, with cedar and sandalwood giving structure, benzoin a gentle balsamic warmth, and tonka bean a smooth, faintly sweet finish.
It suits spring and summer, and daytime through to evening. Anyone who likes white florals kept fresh and green by tea should find it a graceful wear.
