Uniq Oud Forever by Armaf, released in 2024, is a spicy woody-floral that anyone can wear. Spicy is the description everyone gives, two thirds also call it woody or floral, and a third note amber or citrus.
The notes are listed together. Bergamot gives a brief brightness at the start, and pink pepper, cardamom and saffron bring warmth, a leathery edge and a dry heat. Osmanthus and jasmine form the floral heart, osmanthus adding its apricot-like, slightly leathery sweetness. The base is modern and woody: cypriol, also called nagarmotha, gives a smoky, earthy, oud-like woodiness, patchouli adds earth, and cashmeran, ambroxan and ambrocenide supply a dry, warm, long-lasting amber-wood glow.
