Plum and black currant open it with a dark, juicy fruit, and pink pepper adds a brief, warm sparkle. The heart is a rich pairing of rose and jasmine, with the more intense jasmine sambac adding a heady, slightly animalic depth and geranium sharpening the rose with a green edge. The base is dark and resinous: oud brings a dry, smoky wood, guaiac wood a sweeter, tarry smoke, patchouli earth, and labdanum a warm, ambery resin.
