Bohemian Soul

Bohemian Soul by Une Nuit Nomade, released in 2018 and worn by anyone, is an incense and iris scent, dry and resinous. People describe it as woody and resinous in equal measure, and about half also find it musky, floral and amber-like.

Frankincense and olibanum are the centre, a cool, smoky, slightly lemony resin that smells of church and cold stone, and myrrh adds a drier, more bitter balsamic note beside them. Artemisia brings a green, herbal bitterness that keeps the incense from being heavy. Iris gives the floral side, cool, powdery and faintly earthy, which suits the resins well. The base is guaiac wood for a smoky, slightly sweet wood, sandalwood for a creamy smoothness and musk for a soft, skin-like finish.

It reads as a contemplative fragrance for cooler weather and quiet evenings, suited to someone who likes incense in its dry, smoky form and wants a scent with powder and wood rather than sweetness.
