Mandarin and citron open it with a sunny, sweet-sharp citrus, warmed by ginger, which adds a lively, slightly peppery heat. The heart pairs orange blossom with magnolia, the first honeyed and luminous, the second lemony and creamy, so the floral side stays fresh rather than heavy. Seaweed gives a salty, green, marine note that runs underneath. Cedar and amyris form a dry, smooth woody base, and ambergris adds a warm, mineral, slightly salty amber that lasts.
