Bergamot and citron give a sharp, zesty opening, with ginger adding a warm, tingling spice. The heart turns herbal and slightly bitter: tea brings a dry, tannic greenness, gentiana a rooty bitterness like the one found in aperitifs, and neroli a clean, honeyed orange-flower brightness. The base of amberwood, vetiver and musk is dry and smooth, with vetiver adding an earthy, grassy edge and amberwood a soft, mineral warmth.
It is a shared fragrance, worn by anyone. A bitter citrus with tea and gentian is at its best in warm weather and in daytime, and it should suit people who want a fresh scent with an adult, slightly austere edge rather than a sweet one.
