Raspberry and plum give the opening a dark, jammy fruitiness, and saffron adds a warm, slightly leathery spice beside them. The heart combines rose, full and slightly sweet, with white flowers and white blossom, which bring a cleaner, creamier floral tone. Agarwood is the core of the base, dark, smoky and faintly animalic, and sandalwood softens it with a creamy, milky woodiness. Patchouli adds an earthy, chocolatey depth that ties the fruit and the woods together.
Lucid Dream is worn by anyone. The pairing of ripe fruit, rose and oud suits cooler weather and evenings, and it should appeal to someone who likes the rose-oud style but wants it fruitier and softer than the traditional versions.
