Fattan Pour Femme is a feminine woody fragrance from Rasasi, released in 2012. Citrus gives it a bright lift, while touches of spice, flowers, resin and amber add warmth and polish.

It opens with bergamot and lemon, a crisp, zesty start, sharpened by the rosy prickle of pink pepper. The heart is unusual for a feminine scent: lily of the valley brings a fresh, dewy floral note, but it sits among patchouli, cedar and vetiver, which give an earthy, dry and slightly smoky woodiness. The base is classic and warm, with oakmoss adding a shaded, green depth, amber a soft glow, and benzoin a sweet, resinous, vanilla-like finish.

The result is an elegant, slightly chypre-like woody scent rather than a sweet one. It suits office days, smart occasions and autumn and spring, and will appeal to someone who prefers refined, grown-up fragrances with a fresh citrus opening and a mossy, woody heart.

Fattan Pour Femme — unisex fragrance by Rasasi (released 2012). Top notes: Pink Pepper, Lemon, Bergamot. Heart notes: Patchouli, Vetiver, Cedar, Lily-of-the-Valley. Base notes: Amber, Benzoin, Oakmoss. — Parfica open fragrance database
