Bergamot opens with a fresh citrus sparkle, quickly warmed by spices. Lavender and geranium bring an aromatic, herbal floral heart, the lavender clean and the geranium rosy and green, in the style of a classic fougère. The base is woody and resinous: cedar gives a dry structure, patchouli and oakmoss an earthy, mossy depth, and labdanum and amber a warm, balsamic sweetness.
It is worn by anyone. The spiced lavender and woody base suit autumn and winter, evenings and the office, and it should appeal to those who like classic aromatic fragrances with a warmer, spicier twist.
