The opening is rhubarb, tart, green and slightly vegetal, an unusual and sharp start. The heart is cedar, dry and pencil-like, which gives the rhubarb something firm to sit on. The base brings leather for a smooth, slightly smoky depth, tonka bean for a warm, almondy sweetness that tempers the sourness, and sandalwood and vetiver for creamy and earthy woods respectively.
Most wearers report that it lasts all day and almost all the rest call it long lasting, while about half find the sillage strong and a quarter call it enormous.
