Yuzu, lemon and mandarin open it with a bright, slightly floral citrus, yuzu being sharper and more aromatic than ordinary lemon. Cinnamon arrives early and gives the fruit a warm, spiced edge. The heart is jasmine and mimosa, the first adding a heady white-flower sweetness and the second a soft, honeyed, pollen-like warmth. The base is where it departs from a typical citrus: Mysore sandalwood brings a creamy, milky wood, vetiver root an earthy dryness, and vanilla and tonka bean a sweet, comforting finish.
It is a shared fragrance, worn by anyone. The structure makes it a citrus for cooler weather as much as summer, since the sandalwood and vanilla carry it long after the yuzu fades; it suits people who want freshness up top and warmth underneath.
