The notes are few and the scent is direct. Mirabelle plum gives the opening a ripe, slightly tart fruit sweetness, which keeps the first minutes from being pure dessert. Cocoa and cacao pod then take over, dry and bitter rather than milky, closer to dark chocolate than to a sweet bar, and coffee adds a roasted, slightly smoky warmth beside them. Powdery notes soften the dry-down and give it a dusty, cosmetic finish, so the chocolate ends up feeling more like cocoa powder on the skin than like something edible.
It is a cool-weather scent for autumn and winter evenings, cosy and a little unusual, and it suits anyone who likes bitter chocolate and coffee without heavy vanilla. Those who find most gourmands too sugary may appreciate its dryness.
