Sharaf Blend by Zimaya is a sweet, spiced gourmand in the oriental style, released in 2023 and composed by Imran Fazlani. Everyone describes it as gourmand, two thirds add spicy, and a third notice musk, florals, resin or amber.
The opening is dates, saffron and nutmeg, a dark fruity sweetness with warm, dry spice. The heart is praline and vanilla, nutty and caramelised, with tuberose giving a creamy white-floral richness that stops it being purely confectionery. The base is resinous and soft: benzoin brings a balsamic, slightly vanillic warmth, tonka bean adds almond-like sweetness, and amberwood and musk carry it into a long, cosy drydown.
