Grapefruit opens it with a brief, bitter brightness, and black pepper and pepper add a sharp heat. Lavender gives a clean, aromatic line, and iris a cool, powdery softness. The heart turns darker and sweeter: cinnamon and nutmeg bring warm spice, coffee a roasted bitterness and licorice an aniseed-like sweetness. Sandalwood and woody notes form the base, creamy and dry, with vanilla and amber adding a rounded, warm sweetness.
