Ten Fifteen by Room 1015, composed by Jérôme Epinette in 2019 and worn by anyone, is a dry, powdery woody scent. Woodiness is what everyone agrees on; most also describe it as floral, and a third find it spicy and citrusy.
Mandarin orange opens it with a soft, juicy brightness that fades quickly into the woods. Iris and violet form the floral side, both cool and powdery, the iris slightly earthy and the violet sweeter, so the scent has a faint cosmetic, suede-like softness in the middle. Saffron adds a dry, warm, leathery spice. The base is guaiac wood, smoky and a little tarry, sandalwood, creamy and smooth, and papyrus, a dry, slightly smoky, reedy wood that gives the finish its paper-like dryness.
It reads as an understated fragrance for cooler weather and daytime, suited to someone who likes iris and woods and wants a scent that is dry, elegant and a little smoky rather than sweet or fresh.
