Souffle Ambré is a woody amber from the French house Reminiscence, released in 2024 and worn by anyone. Everyone who describes it calls it woody, most find it spicy and musky, and a third notice flowers, resin and amber.
The notes are listed without stages. Clove gives the opening a warm, slightly medicinal spice, and geranium adds a rosy, green, faintly minty counterpoint. The heart is wood: cedar for a dry, pencil-shaving crispness and sandalwood for creamy smoothness. Beneath that, benzoin and amber bring a resinous, vanilla-tinged warmth, vanilla itself adds sweetness, and patchouli with white musk closes the composition on an earthy, soft, skin-like note.
Longevity and sillage have not been reported in enough numbers to generalise. The character suggests autumn and winter, for someone who likes clove and cedar more than sugar in their amber.
