About Lubin Black Jade
Black Jade is a rich oriental in the old sense, equally spicy, sweet, woody, floral and ambery to the people who wear it, with a citrus lift noticed by about half. Lubin released it in 2011, and it is marketed to women. Bergamot and the bitter green snap of galbanum open it brightly. Cinnamon and cardamom bring a warm, slightly sweet spice that runs through the whole scent. Rose and jasmine form the floral heart, full rather than fresh, and incense adds a dry, resinous smoke behind them. The finish is the warmest part: vanilla and tonka bean give a soft, almost edible sweetness, sandalwood a creamy wood, patchouli a little earth and amber a long, glowing trail.
