It opens with raspberry, a liquor note and Calabrian bergamot, so the first impression is fruity and boozy with a citrus lift. The heart pairs rose with violet leaf, the latter bringing a green, slightly metallic freshness that cuts through the sweetness. The base is where the depth lies: cacao butter gives a rich, fatty chocolate warmth, leather a smooth, dark edge, and cedar a dry wood that keeps the whole from becoming too soft.
