Vanilla absolute sits at the centre, thick and warm rather than light and sugary, with honey adding a golden, slightly animalic sweetness. Damask rose brings the floral side, a soft jammy rose rather than a fresh garden one, and agarwood gives the woody depth, a smoky, resinous edge that keeps the vanilla from becoming dessert-like.
