Whisky from the French house Evaflor is a sweet, woody fragrance for men with a fruity opening. Everyone who describes it calls it gourmand; most also find it woody, and a third pick up spice, a floral note, herbs and citrus.

Bergamot, apple and pineapple open it bright and juicy, with lavender adding a clean, aromatic note. Cinnamon leaf brings a dry, warm spice to the heart, and jasmine a soft floral warmth. The base is cedar and sandalwood, dry and creamy in turn, with oakmoss adding a damp, earthy greenness, tonka bean a vanilla-like sweetness and musk a smooth, clean finish.

It is marketed as masculine and has an easy, everyday character that works by day and into the evening across most of the year, for someone who likes fruity-sweet openings that settle into soft, mossy wood.
