The opening is a basket of fruit: pineapple, apple, strawberry and plum, juicy and sweet, with lime and bergamot adding a tart, zesty edge. The heart turns floral and powdery, with rose and jasmine giving warmth and iris a cool, suede-like dryness that keeps the fruit from being childish. The base is smooth and warm: sandalwood and cedar for creamy and dry woods, patchouli for earth, vanilla for sweetness, ambergris for a salty glow, and musks to settle it.
It is a generous, sweet fruity floral with enough wood underneath to feel finished. It suits daytime in mild weather and evenings in autumn, and will appeal to people who like fruit-led gourmands with some polish.
