Oh My Deer! is a spicy, ambery scent with a fresh, metallic opening and an animalic undertone, released by the Dutch house Baruti in 2022 and composed by Spyros Drosopoulos. It is worn by anyone.
Aldehydes and metallic notes open it with a cold, sparkling, slightly steely brightness, immediately warmed by black pepper and Sichuan pepper, which bring a dry, tingling heat. Lily of the valley adds a clean, green floral touch to the heart, and incense a thin, resinous smoke. The base is warm and slightly feral: animal notes and musk give a skin-like, faintly wild warmth, while amber and vanilla smooth it into a soft, sweet finish.
It suits autumn and winter and evening wear. Anyone who likes peppery ambers with an unusual metallic-animalic twist should find it worth trying.
