Indigo is a woody floral built around rose, oud and resins, released by the Dutch house Baruti in 2015 and composed by Spyros Drosopoulos. It is worn by anyone.
Mastic opens it with a green, slightly bitter, pine-like resin that feels cool and clean. Hyacinth and rose form the heart, the hyacinth green and dewy, the rose soft and full, so the floral side has both freshness and body. Agarwood brings a dry, resinous, slightly smoky depth, frankincense a clean, church-like smoke, and cedar and sandalwood a dry and creamy woodiness. Amber warms the finish.
It suits autumn and spring and works for both day and evening. Anyone who likes rose with oud and incense in a green, resinous frame rather than a sweet one should find it rewarding.
