Elemi opens it, a bright, lemony-peppery resin, alongside patchouli for immediate earthiness. The heart is benzoin and Madagascar vanilla, a thick, balsamic sweetness that gives the fragrance its gourmand side. The base is where it becomes complex: tonka bean and labdanum deepen the warmth, guaiac wood adds a dry, smoky woodiness, oud brings a dark, slightly medicinal richness and incense a cool smoke, while osmanthus gives a faint apricot-leather floral touch.
